Refund Policy

The Rwanda Heart Care and Research Foundation welcomes donations that support its work to develop cardiovascular healthcare, training and research in Rwanda.

Donations are voluntary contributions. Please check the amount and currency carefully before confirming a payment.

When a refund may be considered
Because donations support the Foundation’s charitable work, a completed donation is generally not refundable simply because a donor changes their mind. We will review refund requests where a payment appears to have been made in error, was duplicated, was unauthorized, or was processed for an incorrect amount. This policy does not limit any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

If you believe a payment was made in error, contact us as soon as possible at info@rwandaheartcentre.org. Please include the donation date, amount and currency, the transaction reference, and the email address used for the donation. Do not email full payment-card details or security codes.

How We Review Requests
We may ask for reasonable information to locate and verify the transaction. We will assess each request individually and aim to respond within 10 business days. If approved, the refund will normally be sent back through the original payment method. The time it takes to appear in your account may depend on your bank or payment provider.

Donations made through Flutterwave are subject to the payment provider’s processing procedures. If the payment appears on your statement but you have not received a confirmation, please first check with your bank or payment provider and then contact us with the transaction details.

Recurring Donations
If recurring donations are enabled, you may request cancellation of future payments by contacting us at info@rwandaheartcentre.org. Cancellation of future payments does not automatically refund donations already processed; those payments can be reviewed under this policy.
