Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs meets Prof. Sir Magdi Yacoub.. where he praised the humanitarian and development role of Egyptian health projects in Africa.
Honourable Minster Badr Abdel-Atty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Egyptian Affairs Abroad, on Thursday, January 22 received Professor Sir Magdi Yacoub and his team, where Minister Abdel Atty praised the key role and the recent efforts of Professor Dr. Magdi Yacoub and his team in leveraging knowledge and experience to serve the most needy groups within Egypt, the African continent and developing countries. The Minister explained it is certain that these efforts represent a leading model of humanitarian diplomacy that Egypt is pursuing to promote solidarity and build bridges of cooperation with its African brothers. In particular the meeting discussed the close cooperation between the Egyptian Agency for Development Partnership and Professor Dr. Magdi Yacoub’s team in the implementation of health and humanitarian projects in the African continent, spearheaded by the Egypt-Rwanda Heart Center which is scheduled to be opened this year as a regional center for providing specialized health care services to African brothers.
